Back Stage Round Two LCFW

Attending a fashion show was something I always wanted to experience, but having an all access pass to see what goes on back stage was awesome! I stood there with my camera very timid, but the more I was snapping shots, the more I fit right into the chaos. Everyone runs out like they’re escaping a fire to get on the run way and undressing from the next piece is like a hurricane of wind around me.

These designers, their teams, hair and make-up artists, photographers, models, and stylists are some of the most hard-working people I have encountered. These are the type of people I want to be around, the people who are inspiring from young, to the middle age and the young at heart.

Back stage you don’t really see a lot of people talking, you see hard work, from the make-up artist applying her last-minute touch ups to the girl who is sowing the last-minute button with her sowing machine. You see designers inspecting every detail of an outfit and racks of garments waiting to be displayed by a beautiful model.

Many models are snapping pictures of themselves for social media or the next model becoming inspired by a you-tuber. Ultimately, backstage is where the magic happens and when we dress the part, the chances of us becoming the part of something greater. Whether, you are a designer, apart of their team, hair and make-up artists, photographers, models, and stylists, or even an inspiring blogger as myself, backstage is empowering and inspiring.

Hey Peeps! I'm Kacie, a 30 something year old dreamer with a love of all things. I'm a shy and very quiet girl from Louisiana. I grew up on a farm in the middle of watermelon fields and dirt roads. However, it was in the middle of those roads where my journey began as a child. I would like to think that I can always return to where I’m from when life is overwhelming. I enjoy baking, gardening, eating, photography, & all things country-related. I’m also a cradle Catholic who enjoys learning more about Catholicism. God has put my Faith to the test on several different occasions throughout my life. I’m a caregiver to my mother and this is where starting a blog began.
