LCFW Night 1 – Back Stage

One of my favorite parts about Lake Charles fashion week was being able to go back stage. I was super nervous my first night, as this was my first time ever, to represent myself as a ‘professional’ blogger. I honestly can’t wait to share night two and into the last day as you can tell, I get more confident behind the camera lens.

Prince was the theme surrounded by all the shows, which included every detail from the makeup to the entertainment outside of the runway.

Beautiful girls awaited their turn, to show off the most perfectly glowing skin, and shimmering eyes.

This was one of my favorite pictures from back stage because her long blonde hair matched the flowing dresses and gowns perfectly.

perfect in every way, all the way down to the white tip toes

No doubt, this would have been me waiting to make my appearance on the cat walk.

The first runway appearance were models in extremely, crazy, funky (don’t know where I would wear them) high heels. However, they were neat to watch across the runway. These disco ball heels were my favorite.

I love seeing a smiling face. something so genuine about a person when they smile.

However, I love a good proper, elegant lady at her finest.

Prince inspired.

I love someone who can walk into a room and own an awesome pair of sunglasses.

Above is the designer who won “best in show” the first night of fashion week. you can see her designs below on the girls …

I love this one

and these

Stay tuned because you don’t want to miss all the pictures from the shows, I believe I counted over 32 post I have coming up from kids, to teens, to plus size, to makeup ideas, and hair dos. Lots and Lots coming to the blog and I’m excited to share all my endeavors with you, my wonderful followers.

thanks for reading,

Hey Peeps! I'm Kacie, a 30 something year old dreamer with a love of all things. I'm a shy and very quiet girl from Louisiana. I grew up on a farm in the middle of watermelon fields and dirt roads. However, it was in the middle of those roads where my journey began as a child. I would like to think that I can always return to where I’m from when life is overwhelming. I enjoy baking, gardening, eating, photography, & all things country-related. I’m also a cradle Catholic who enjoys learning more about Catholicism. God has put my Faith to the test on several different occasions throughout my life. I’m a caregiver to my mother and this is where starting a blog began.
