NYFW Copy Cat Obsessions

To be able to attend a New York fashion show would be a dream. In fact, attending a local fashion show  would be a dream and an exciting experience. The two major fashion seasons are seen as the ultimate highlight on a bloggers calendar. Being that last week was one of those times, I noticed a ton of fur coats. Fur was on every blog I clicked on and was in every street-style snap shot.

However, New York is a tad different on climate than down south Louisiana, so finding something for Valentines Day was a little frustrating none-the-less. Ever though it was hot as heck, I couldn’t pass up this soft and girlie coat. I mean this coat is unbelievable soft! Here’s a round-up of the outfit and what I’m obsessed with at the moment.

For this very fun day with my mom, I paired this light weight (still hot) coat with this adorable Calvin Klein bow-tie top. This top is very fragile though! Warning the texture will snag on every little corner. I paired the top and coat with a classic straight leg from Guess. I love Guess jeans but they run long in length. I always have to roll the bottom a couple of times, my trusted criss-cross velvet heels from Gianni Bini.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. I’m so excited to share what I’ll be doing this weekend, but sorry guys you will have to wait until then … I will say I’m inching for beautiful weather and Spring fashion. I’m obsessing over bells! Bell sleeve tops and Bell bottoms right now. I’m also obsessing over western wear this festival season.

God Bless you,

Kacie

Hey Peeps! I'm Kacie, a 30 something year old dreamer with a love of all things. I'm a shy and very quiet girl from Louisiana. I grew up on a farm in the middle of watermelon fields and dirt roads. However, it was in the middle of those roads where my journey began as a child. I would like to think that I can always return to where I’m from when life is overwhelming. I enjoy baking, gardening, eating, photography, & all things country-related. I’m also a cradle Catholic who enjoys learning more about Catholicism. God has put my Faith to the test on several different occasions throughout my life. I’m a caregiver to my mother and this is where starting a blog began.
