Bless Us O Lord

A little over a week ago I was lucky enough to come across this adorable apron from The Catholic Company. The blessing we say before meals goes a little something like this:

Bless us, Oh Lord,
and these thy gifts which
we are about to receive from thy bounty,
through Christ, Our Lord.
Amen.

Cameron is quickly becoming a young man and the baby stage will never be back, (hang-on *tears*) but nothing will ever stop me from seeing the baby within him. Ahhhhh! Without his permission I ordered this apron, its borderline toddler cuteness and hopping over the fence, to the: “mom, do I really have to wear this” attitude. Luckily for me I have a cool kid or maybe he just wanted to hurry up and dig into these delicious chocolate chip cookies we whipped up. This time of year really puts me in the baking mood. Do you have a favorite Fall goodie or a mealtime blessing you say?

Snips and snails, and puppy dogs tails, That’s what little boys are made of.

And maybe a chocolate chip cookie or two

Below is a great website but (ain’t nobody got time for that) …

Store bought…9/10 minutes in oven. Just as delicious! Enjoy!

Hey Peeps! I'm Kacie, a 30 something year old dreamer with a love of all things. I'm a shy and very quiet girl from Louisiana. I grew up on a farm in the middle of watermelon fields and dirt roads. However, it was in the middle of those roads where my journey began as a child. I would like to think that I can always return to where I’m from when life is overwhelming. I enjoy baking, gardening, eating, photography, & all things country-related. I’m also a cradle Catholic who enjoys learning more about Catholicism. God has put my Faith to the test on several different occasions throughout my life. I’m a caregiver to my mother and this is where starting a blog began.
