Making It With Mom | Kale Chips

If you are like me and are so tempted by the bag of potato chips you see your kid munching on, rustle up some of these chips instead. You may not think they’ll satisfy your craving for your favorite brand, but these beautiful kale chips, taste incredible. They’re surprisingly quick and easy to whip up!!

1. Preheat the oven to 315ish

2. Using the slicing side of the box graters, finely slice all the kale. Or you can do as I have and cut them how you wish.

3. Pat the kale slices dry on paper towels, then add them to a large bowl with the olive oil, sea salt, and your favorite seasoning. I just use the olive oil and sea salt. Mix with hands until evenly coated, and then transfer to baking sheet. Do not overlap the slices.

4. Cook the chips in the oven for 20-25 minutes until they’re golden and crispy. Some many cook more quickly than others, so keep an eye on them. Remove the chips from the oven and allow them to cool. Enjoy!

You can also do this with any veggie. Such as sweet potato, purple potato, white potato, carrot, red beets, etc.

Flavor options would be any dry herbs, smoked paprika, chili flakes, cumin, thyme, dried rosemary, etc.
