Every year about this time, I start to think of a healthier lifestyle that all the winter blues have packed on. By March my fitness list has gotten long and like the groundhog, I almost want to crawl back into my hole for six more weeks of winter.
However, something happens when I get that first taste of spring. Im getting inspired by the plant base diet. Maybe it’s the fact that my vegan friend Anna has introduced me to a whole new world of food.
We came across this restaurant while out in Lafayette and tried a few of their vegan dishes. These foods really had my juices flowing! This cute little burger Anna ordered looked like it was made from play-dough. I definitely couldn’t pass up these yummy sweet potatoes fries.
One way or another, I beginning to work on my fitness list, trying to make little improvements here and there. I know I’ll never get it all done, but something about spending a little time in a new place, surrounded by new foods, just makes me feel better.
I hope this post can inspire you to do the same. Tribe Collective is a great place to start. Try something outside of your comfort zone. Vegan food can make a big difference on your fitness list. If you’re like me, you won’t come close to getting everything done, but all you have to do is check a couple things off your fitness list to feel a great sense of accomplishment this spring.
