Good afternoon! I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather. Today Im posting my Halloween look in full detail written by Shaunteal!!
Halloween is one of my favorite times a year, for the sheer fact that you can be somebody else, for just one day. 🙂
For Kacie, we were inspired by the black feathers of a bird; how multidimensional the feathers are. They are not mere black, but pearlescent variations of greens and blues.
I wanted to create a character that was moody but yet wispy and edgy. It was a balance between beauty and boldness.
I began with water activated face paints as a base color and then later used them to create feather light wispy stokes around the eyes.
After I mapped out the eyes, I went in and added further dimension with Powder Eyeshadows and Pigments.
I finalized the look with variations of glimmer: crystals, fine glitter, and nail art accessories.
The eyes wouldn’t have been complete without the fluttery bold lashes.
To balance out the face we decided on a black cream eyeliner on the lips and a soft flush on the apples of the cheeks.
My little bird was complete and ready to fly to discover the world. A proud Momma I was.
